We've been busy at the Birds and the Teas with holiday gift baskets. We'd like to wish Happy Holidays to all our customers.
Last night and early this morning we were hit with a significant ice storm that left behind sleet and freezing rain that deposited just under 1/2 inch of ice on all surfaces. Many tree limbs came down in the area due to the tremendous extra weight of the ice. Some of our own trees branches are bent to the ground and we hope they will recover. Although destructive in some ways, the ice storm provided some amazing and beautiful images around the yard. See our picture of N. Cardinals in an ice coated tree in our
bird talk blog.

Ice covered Washington Hawthorn Tree.

Our White Pine limbs were sagging to the ground due to
the weight of the ice.
