Our Grand Opening

posted at  12:44 PM

Its hard to believe that its has been a couple weeks since the grand opening at the shop on October 16th. But some how, time slipped away. I had a fabulous time and was so pleased to see so many friends. I know it was true for me, but I certainly hope that a good time was had by all. Thank you to everyone who shared the day with me.

Ribbon Cutting

The ribbon cutting ceremony at our grand opening. Morris Mayor, the Honorable Richard Kopczick, (on my left) took time out of his busy schedule to cut the ribbon at our new tea shop in Morris, IL.

Autumn News

posted at  4:19 PM

Time flies when you're having fun and we're having a blast. I can't believe it is this late in September already and Corn Fest has officially begun... We're having a wonderful fall - the trees are just starting to turn but the grass is still green because of all the rain we had this year. I frequently walk at Goose Lake Prairie State Park and I've never seen the prairie so green (and yellow because of all the beautiful native sunflowers blooming) this late in the season. Its a great time for drinking tea - both iced and hot. The days are warm enough for iced tea, but the mornings and evenings have enough of a nip in the air to make a cup of hot tea taste great. Our New Store Now Open in Morris, IL

posted at  7:41 AM

Week 1 of the new shop went well. Thanks to everyone who stopped in. It was nice to see so many familiar faces and meet new tea drinkers. Hoped you liked what you saw - even though it is still very much a work in progress... We will continue to add more products, so please stop back again. We are planning a grand opening in mid-September - the date is yet to be determined. We'll keep you posted. Thanks again for all your support. Hope to see you again soon.

Progress on Our New Store

posted at  6:06 PM

New Store Opening August 11
We've been busy getting things ready for our new storefront - and its coming together nicely. Our plan is to be open by Tuesday, August 11. We are still at Milltown Market - just in a smaller space. The owners have provided a great spot for us close to the check-out counter.

French Country Market August 8
We'll also be at the next French Country Market again at Canal Port in Morris on Saturday, August 8 from 8 am to 2 pm. I've met so many wonderful tea drinkers at the market. It looks like it could be a warm day so be sure and stop by and try out a sample of our ice tea. I'm having a great time - in spite of the heat... Hope to see you there.
