On this cold, cloudy, and blustery day we had a small group of 7 Sandhill Cranes fly overhead this morning heading south. They were flying fairly low.

We had 2 Pine Siskins at our feeder this afternoon. Attached is a photo. Quality is not the best as I was shooting from inside and the wind was blowing the feeder. The Siskins were moving quickly as well.

10:30 AM

White-throated sparrows showed up under our feeder today. They sing the "...Oh sweet Canada...Canada...Canada..." song. Saturday evening around 8PM we heard our first E. Screech Owl. They have distinct calls including what's described as a whistled whinny. We also frequently hear Great-horned owls.
